According to the sources, company has already been with Foxconn, which is actively developing wearable device technology for several companies. The manufacturer is said to be working on creating more power-efficient displays for smart watches. These will have limited space for batteries and require a longer battery life due to the nature of the Apple's smart watch.

The sources reported that Apple has actually been looking into most wearable devices for quite a little time. AMD continued to advertise the VISION brand in 2011 but now AMD is planning to remove the company logo from its current and upcoming PC processors along with PC systems that have AMD chips inside it. The company has been fighting to keep itself above water because the whole PC industry slows down which AMD continues to lose ground to its main rival Intel. AMD feels that the VISION branding didn't go enough to boost sales of the PCs that had its chip inside.

The product marketing simply follows the straightforward and actual product names. This technology didn't make much sense and its current incarnation with more powerful APUs. The vision branding had already taken on following the product name without much direct relevance to all the capabilities. AMD has made an effort to differentiate them as it seems in the screenshot above.
